The same pier, the same way: the sea provides the fish, the table does the rest.
A big, busy fish table on the İskele seafront. The years changed the sign; they never changed the way.
The road so far
Before
İskele's old fish stop
This table by the sea had been known for years, but the place had grown tired — paint peeling, the counter dim.
2023
A new chapter
The restaurant passed to its current owner and was renewed top to bottom: kitchen, dining hall, the counter… Everything was reworked, keeping the seaside table layout.
2023–24
Open-air dining by the water
The space was extended and an open section reaching the sea was built — on summer evenings the table is now set right at the water's edge.
Today
Live music and a master kitchen
Live music on Friday and Saturday evenings, skilled chefs in the kitchen: the same way from counter to plate, at a larger table.
Evening falls, the lights come on; the counter waits for tomorrow's sea.
